Purple Haze




Purple haze all in my brain
Lately things just don't seem the same
Actin' funny, but I don't know why
'Scuse me while I kiss the sky!

Don't think I am acting funny but we sure do appreciate the Hendrix lines....yes..of that generation!! Kiss the sky...think that is what our purple haze is doing....

You see, it was like that tonight..the wow factor of the blue gone purple of the baptisia australis (wild blue indigo) and the photos a bit blurred...the Captain said.."Like Purple Haze"...and so..it is!

    Lol... on the blurred comment by the Captain. My front garden is a bit all of a purple/blue/pink haze at the moment... no song lines for that (don't think). Mmm... over the rainbow maybe ;-) I love it anyway... enjoy yours :-D

    Well, it may be a bit blurry but I'm still envious! For some reason, I've never manage to grow it properly. It struggles and then dies - usually within weeks.

    I still have the album. I have a pile of albums in the crawl space that my thirty year old son demands that I never get rid of. I have everything from Jimi and Janis, to Led Zepplin and Black Sabbath, I have the original Woodstock and Concert for Bangladesh. Wow, memories just flooding in.

    Oh such great comments. I haven't looked back at some of these posts in a very long time, until you visited today Erin. Thanks for that! How wonderful you have all those old albums. It isn't the same having them on CD...I still use my record player and when 'the girls' come over, we have such a great time listening to the oldies. Makes for a great party and old memories rise to the surface..telling tales sometimes ;-)
