So here is a photo of the little darling...only found in North America I understand..... Chipmunk ZILLA!
And here is just one photo of what is left of my tulips....grumble.. no kitty cat around you see...Riley died last year (((( ...and the Chief just can't run fast enough!!
Woe is me.... but ...but....the little critters are adorable, no question!!
We had a chipmunkZILLA in our garden/yard 2 years ago, the girls thought it a sweet animal.
ReplyDeleteThe parents not so much!!!
I feel your pain. I don't plant them anymore because the deer just wait until I sigh and say 'not this year - this year I've got them beat' and then in they come and eat em all up. And as you heard, my own chickens - my very own flesh and blood that I raised from eggs were found in my perennial bed yesterday having a big whoop ass party! They said 'redecorating' but 'destroying' was more like it. damn.
ReplyDeleteI tried to leave a comment from my other identity, but couldn't make it work (I look after Baldwin Nurseries' blog and have a separate identity for that. Really sorry about the tulips, but the chipmunkzillas are just soooo cute. There's always daffodils, and hyacinths, and other critter-resistant bulbs...
